Step 2: Parents Submit Application
Step 3: Academic Enrollment Committee Review
Once your application, student records, and application fee have been received at FEC, your application will be reviewed by our Academic Enrollment Committee. If your application is approved, you will be notified with an invitation to interview with the Executive Director and a Board Member.
Step 4: Parent & Student Interview and Testing
At the interview, we will discuss your application and seek to get to know your family and your student both academically and spiritually. Testing may also take place at this time.
Step 5: Student Acceptance Notice
After the interview, FEC will contact you to inform you whether your student has been accepted to our program. If accepted, you will receive an Enrollment Agreement to sign and return along with the $300 (non-refundable) Enrollment Fee. (Please note, this fee is not applied to tuition.) FEC staff sign the Enrollment Agreement and the student’s admission will be confirmed and held until your Financial Meeting in Step 7.
Step 6: Meet with the Executive Director and/or Office Administrator
If interested in teaching, the Executive Director will meet with you to discuss your teaching position(s) and tuition reduction/pay and sign the Teacher Contract. Because FEC functions on parental involvement, the Office Administrator will meet with you to schedule your MASH (Mandatory Service Hours) duties. This meeting will confirm your teaching responsibilities, the MASH duties, and your children’s schedule of classes.
Step 7: Meet with the Financial Department
The next step is to meet with the financial department to determine book and tuition fees and schedule your payment plan. At this time, you will sign the Family Financial Contract.
